Ryan's Well

Ryan's Well is the story of a young boy's determination to make a difference in the world. Ryan Hreljac raised thousands of dollars to drill a well in Angolo, Uganda. At the age of seven, Ryan became a local activist speaking at schools and community events about water conservation, poverty and global understanding.

In this moving documentary, we travel to Uganda and witness the meeting of the two very special pen pals, and the inaugural pumping of "Ryan's Well." At this extraordinary moment, Ryan realizes that he has more friends in Uganda than just Jimmy. He has won the hearts of the entire community, and changed their lives forever.

Ryan was so moved by what he saw he kept working and now has raised enough money to build 319 wells in 14 countries helping nearly half a million people. 

Ryan's Well is a classic "power of one" story. This film shows first hand how one determined spirit can change the world if we really care.
